Tim Smyth (Chief Executive Officer)
Tim brings in-depth understanding of business and the insurance industry to his role at Prime Professions. He began his career in 1985 by cultivating a solid technical foundation within International Broking businesses. He quickly moved into Reinsurance Broking and was appointed a Board Director of a Lloyd's Broking business in his late 20's. In 2000 he was recruited by the Primary Group, Prime's ultimate parent, as a Marketing Director of its Lloyd's Broking business and shortly thereafter appointed Managing Director. In 2005 Tim took on the role of Primary Group Strategic Director, and in 2007 was asked to join the Board of Primary Group UK. Tim sat on the Group's Investment Committee and was also largely responsible for its relationships with external parties such as Insurer partners. In 2010, he took on the role of Chief Executive at Prime Professions. From new business initiatives and growth strategies to client services and investor relations, Tim combines the outlook of a natural leader with the business knowledge and insight of a skilled insurance professional.

Duncan Philpott (Managing Director and Head of Financial Services)
An insurance professional since 1983, Duncan is widely recognised for his knowledge of the Professional Indemnity Insurance market and his professional approach to building client relationships. He oversees key parts of Prime's operations, reporting and IT functions and leads the team that works with Independent Financial Advisors. His expertise and standing in the industry mean he was selected as a member of the General Insurance Standards Council PI working party. He was also a member of the working party set up by the Association of Independent Financial Advisors during the Pensions Review. When he's not busy with professional obligations, Duncan enjoys sailing and spends time sharing those skills with children.

Glen Aguilar-Millan (Finance Director)
Glen has over 33 years' experience in the insurance broking sector, the bulk of which was spent at Willis, one of the largest global insurance brokers. He started his career at Willis in the Marine claims function, and subsequently moved into the area of fiduciary accounting before finally moving into finance.
After qualifying as a Chartered Management Accountant, Glen became Finance Director for the multi line Global Broking Services division before moving on to the Aerospace division. When Willis decided to split its back office operations from sales, Glen became FD of this unit with 2,000 staff spread globally. Following major investment a number of core processing systems were replaced, facilitating the transfer of work to the company's offshore operation in India, of which Glen was an active Director.
In 2006 Glen became the UK Finance Director of Alexander Forbes to help oversee the sale of the UK business. Subsequently Glen was appointed as UK CFO of the acquired business.
Most recently Glen worked with Price Forbes on a 1 year interim assignment as Group FD to help embed financial processes and disciplines required following their MBO from Marsh. During his career Glen has held a number of UK and International directorships as well as being an FSA Approved Person.

Martin Ellis (Director and Head of Risk Solutions)
Martin is a knowledgeable source within the Professional Indemnity Insurance market who understands the challenges faced by law firms of all sizes. With over 25 years' experience in Professional Indemnity Insurance, he began as a Claims Broker and has a detailed background in all aspects of the industry. He enjoys working closely with his clients and takes pride in being regarded as a trusted adviser. When it comes to complex insurance placements, Martin's determination and focus mean he's able to find solutions that make an enormous difference to his clients. Martin has a proven understanding of the risks facing medium and larger law firms based within the UK and those which have an international presence. His knowledge is an invaluable asset to the team at Prime Professions.

Tom Allen (International Division - Executive Director)
An international broker, Tom specialises in Professional Indemnity, Medical Malpractice and Directors' and Officers' liability. He has spent 25 years in the Professional Indemnity Insurance Industry and has enjoyed success in Australia, Asia, Europe, Israel and Latin America. A respected professional across the industry, his clients value his expertise and his team benefits from his guidance.
